Job Summary:

Impact Solar, a leading solar energy company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Panel Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels, wiring, and related components in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels, racking, and related components on residential and commercial properties
• Perform electrical wiring and interconnection of solar energy systems
• Conduct site assessments and determine appropriate installation techniques and equipment needed
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols
• Keep accurate records of installations and report progress to project managers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in solar panel installation an asset but not required
• Electrical experience or certification preferred
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Working at height certificate
• WHMIS
• 4 Step safety awareness

*Must be willing to travel around GTA, and on occasion beyond.
